It's a party to celebrate the opening of a brand new store at 20th & Chestnut Sts. in Philadelphia.

A well-juried show Can be a fine thing to see indeed. However, sometimes, when the number of entries far exceed the allotted space, there are many worthy works that are not able to be shown. Because that was the situation in a recent Artists Equity Show at the Berman Museum, AE has cooperated in allowing MLUC’s Visual Arts Committee to host a show of the “Refused” work.

As a Board Member of the Delaware Valley Art League, I am participating in this group show of artwork by Board Members. I have three pieces hanging there: Sea Leaves I and II (both are cyanotype/pastels) and a pastel painting called "White Azalea". All three are available for purchase.

Jeanne will join two other area artists for an exhibit of recent work at the Gryphon Cafe in Wayne, PA
In addition to Jeanne's pastels (and maybe a watercolor or two) there will be photography by Pat Jordan and Mixed Media work by Dae Rebeck-Sanchez.

An artists reception is planned for July 17th from 5 till 7pm. Offered will be free refreshments and a chance to meet and talk with the artists.

The Gryphon Cafe is just a couple doors east of the Wayne Movie Theater.
